This very rare Penol Ambassador Special was made by the Christian Olsen Company of Copenhagen, Denmark in the 1940\'s, and has a beautiful 14 Kt. gold nib with the NGI logo. The imprint on the barrel \"444\" indicates that the pen was made in April, 1944. The nib is stamped \"Penol Ambassador\" with the CO anchor logo 14kt. The nib is a fine. Capped the pen measures 5 1/16\". The filling system is piston and is in working order with a fairly new cork seal so it\'s ready to use. I recently inked it and it writes beautifully.
