PAIR OF VINTAGE MID CENTURY LARGE GREEN GLASS LAMPS STANDARD OIL CROWN GLOBES. Condition is Excellent \"Used\". This matched pair of lamps and shades are pieces you can build your entire MCM Room or house around. The glass globes appear to exactly match glass globes made for the Standard Oil Company Crown Gas line of fuels for atop gas pumps. Those globes were typically made from milk glass with painted accents. These green glass globes are the same size and pattern, and were probably made from the same molds after Standard Oil retired them. These lamps are breathtaking with the green glass and antiqued decorative brass accents. Each lamp has two switches for turning the lights on and off, a twist switch up at the bulb socket operates the upper light, while a push button switch in the base operates a night light in the green crown globe. Both work perfectly and include their original shades. The inner linings of the shades are torn, but cannot be seen from the outside.
