Original Early WW2 WWII Cruver Spotter Recognition Spotter Model P-51A For Sale

Up for grabs is an original early Cruver Manufacturing Company \"spotter-recognition\" P-51A model. This particular P-51 is in remarkable condition for its age. The WW2 era spotter models were made of cellulose acetate. Spotter models were used to train servicemen to quickly identify \"friend or foe.\" I\'ve seen a number of later P-51 D and H models but the early P-51A models are rare. 1/72 scale marked \"P-51-US-June 1942\" and circle C for Cruver Manufacturing Company.
