This is just a great original piece. I have been buying more and more John Gould original prints lately as I am finding they are coming back into favor. I have been selling more to younger people lately then I ever did. That is why I was excited to buy a great collection of original Goulds as well as other important 19th Century bird prints. Some really beautiful works in outstanding condition and framed, ready to hang. A great opportunity to pick up some special works for your collection at a fraction of what the high end print shops sell them for, unframed. Dont miss this opportunity. Happy to combine shipping if you are interested in a couple or more. This is one of Gould's works from his Birds of Australia. Overall it is in very good condition. Colors show some fading but still pretty strong. Some consistent toning to the page as well as a toning box from the non archival matte but nothing too bad. There is also a toning line through the title from when the print had slipped in the frame. I corrected that and reattached it to the backing with archival tape. A few other toning spots around the outside of the image. Sheet measures 15 x 22 inches. Pencil title written under the printed title. Overall an excellent example. Black frame ready to hang. Frame measures 19 1/4 x 24 1/4 inches. Add only $8 more for S&H&I if you purchase a second. I dont believe it is safe to package more than 2 in a single box.
