This is just a great original piece. I have been buying more and more John Gould and other original bird prints lately as I am finding they are coming back into favor. I have been selling more to younger people lately then I ever did. That is why I was excited to buy a great collection of original Goulds as well as other important 19th Century bird prints. Some really beautiful works in outstanding condition and framed, ready to hang. Colors are incredibly strong and vibrant. Some faint consistent toning to the page as well as a toning box from the non archival matte but nothing too bad at all. Image measures 14 1/2 x 18 1/2 inches. Overall an excellent example. Black frame ready to hang. Frame measures 21 3/4 x 25 1/4 inches. Add only $8 more for S&H&I if you purchase a second. I dont believe it is safe to package more than 2 in a single box.
