THIS IS---a vintage big book, as shown, it is the complete large edition DICK & JANE called OUR BIG BOOK which contains the first six stories from WE LOOK AND SEE the beginning Pre-Primer of The New Basic Readers. Its large clear type ad pictures are designed for use in the area of far vision; it thus provides an important safeguard against undue eye fatigue for the beginning reader. from Scott, Foresman & co. this is the complete 6 sectios, each of which is 4 pages, and each section is a complete story. circa 1950's. the cover/stand has a bit of wear, the stand on one side is damaged (see last photo) and so only one side stands correctly (1st photo). also a bit of damage to binding (photo 11).
