Ornate silver theca locket 1,2 inches high (3cm) with hanging hook which contains a relic of St.Boniface (675-754) Anglo-Saxon missionary, archbishop and martyr. Missionary in the germanic parts of the frankish empire where he preached Christianity and was made archbishop of Mainz. Died as a martyr for the Faith and became the patron saint of Germania, also known as the \"Apostle of the Germans \".
Oval 3 piece sterling silver locket, the front cover with the Miraculous Virgin Mary with the words in french \" Mary Concieved Without Sin Pray For Us Who Seek Your Help \" and the date \" 1830 \". And the back case cover with initials of the Virgin Mary, cross and sacred hearts.
The interior theca case is under glass on a gold cloth background with gold metallic cord border trim and decorations. The relic is placed on a green backing above the name label which reads \" S.Boniface \".
