ORNATE 1888 CINCINNATI ART SCHOOL WALL CABINET CYNTHIANA KY CONNECTION For Sale

We are downsizing and offering this ornate wall cabinet carved at the CINCINNATI ART SCHOOL by KATE FISHER in 1888. all the information given is verified by a paper that was attached to the back of the cabinet. the instructor\'s name was BENN PITMAN. there is another date with Kate Fisher\'s name of 1937. possibly when she wrote the paper or when she returned to Cynthiana. the cabinet is walnut, very ornately carved. Has sycamore panels in the doors with carved sycamore leaves and balls. the height is 45 1/2 inches and the width is 40 inches. the carving is extremely well done. have had this piece since early 1990\'s. the only piece I have ever seen that was in the class with this was a wall cabinet that was sold by STUART HOLMAN, saleeer in Ohio on april 29, 2006. the cabinet brought $5,775. the cabinet did not have the shelves on each side that this one does. am selling with the cabinet to be picked up in Cynthiana, ky
