We are very pleased to offer this Gorgeous Original Victorian Gone with the Wind (GWTW) Ornate Embossed Cherub Angel Banquet Oil Lamp made from that notorious Old smooth white milk glass from the 1800\'s...& some people also refer to this lamp as the \'Baby Face\' Lamp. This marvelous lamp has NOT been electrified & comes with a vintage working wick... so a person could still use this lamp as it was intended to be used...to provide light to a room. If you want a romantic evening just light this baby up...it creates a nostalgia all of its own & provides a warm sentimental glow to the room. And now-a-days you can use scented lamp oil if you prefer that over the good ol\' fashioned oil or kerosene that used to be used in these lamps. It is in positively magnificent condition & has been pre-loved by a meticulous owner who always cherished it. Stands approx. 24\" tall (approx. 26-1/2\" tall with the chimney) & the base & middle section have ornate brass design hardware composition/construction...with the base ALSO displaying the embossed angel/cherub face. The font is embossed with the name \"..METEOR...\" which is attributed to the lamp perfectionist...EDWARD MILLER! The top globe measures approx. 10\".
