EAGLE MASK - Fabulous craftsmanship, nice clapping sound through articulated beak!

Measurements: 12\" long, 7 1/2\" wide, 18\" tall (incl. cedar) 11 1/2\" x 4\" x 4 1/2” without the cedar (30.5 x 19 x 46 cm / 29 x 10 x 11.5 cm)

This amazing piece is decorated with lots ofthe traditional cedar bark, it’s also adorned with the traditional cedar robe.It\'s hand crafted, carved and painted by the Kwakwaka\'wakwFirst Nations Master artist ALFRED ROBERTSON, originating from Kingcome Inlet,British Columbia. It\'s made for wall hanging, hanger already attached. Stand/Base available on request.

The Artist: Alfred Robertson, Kwakwaka’wakw First Nations, was born 1950inKingcome Inlet,British Columbia,Canada.Alfred learned to carve from his father, William Robertson, and has carved withhis brother, Sampson Robertson. Alfred carves in yellow and red cedar wood. Helives now inNanaimoandteaches basic carving skills to elementary school children.
