You are looking at a Hand made Native American Peace pipe. You will receive the exact pipe and stem shown in the photos.
This pipe is a decent size and would work well for ceremonial use since the bowl is large enough for several people to smoke out of.
It would also make an excellent addition to any collection.
It is brand new, fully functional, never been used or blessed.
The stone was quarried from the sacred quarries at the Pipestone National Monument located near by. It is authentic Pipestone quarried by hand.
This is a style of pipe called “four winds” with each of the rings to honor North, South, East and West. How ever it is art, and all open to interpretation. So you can chose what you would like the rings to represent. The pipe is polished and each of the rings reveal what the stone looked like in raw form.
The bowl itself measures 4-1/4 inches long and stands 2-3/4 inches tall. Each pipe is unique and beautiful in its own way. Please see the photos to see the finer details.
The stem alone measures 12 inches long. I left this stem plain so the buyer may decorate to personalize how ever they see fit. It is rubbed with an oil to high light the natural beauty of the wood grain. The stem is sealed tight to the bowl when connected with no air leaks.
The total length of the pipe bowl and stem when connected is 15-1/2 inches long.
The pipe is signed “Loud Thunder” as that is my given Indian name. I am a 5th generation Pipe maker, a lineal descendant of the Sisseton-Wahpeton Tribe although not enrolled myself.
