NOS WWII Korea Vietnam Signal Corps LC-80 leather palm winch radio cable reeling For Sale

This is an interesting item... the LC-80 leather palm is a signal corps piece of equipment I believe possibly used in WWII through Vietnam.. these particular ones are dated 1954. The purpose of this is to be worn on the users right hand and is used in facilitating communications wire / cable being reeled onto or off of a large reel. I\'ve seen these advertised as being for climbing or lineman purposes but I haven\'t seen any evidence of that. This could possibly be a handy tool for lubricating your trucks winch cable as well... In any case these are well made government surplus and kind of an overlooked item when it comes to Signal Corps stuff..
