This is one of the finest Jim Crowell hunters you will ever find. The blade shape is Jim\'s signature style and collectors can look at the knife from a distance and tell he is the one who made it.
The giraffe bone handle is done in a mortise fashion and is the first time he had used this method on a handle. The giraffe bone was hand selected by Jim and is some of the most beautiful I have ever come across. There are streaks of dark shades running throughout along with a high degree of polishing. There are 3-6 nickel silver pins that fasten the handle.
Lastly, the knife comes with a leather sheath by Dave Smith of Fox, Arkansas.
