For your consideration
Antique hand painted Portrait of a young woman adorned with beautiful Southwestern jewelry & a buckskin beaded Native American fringe dress.
I’m not an expert, but to me it looks like a sepia toned picture that is physically painted on. When you hold it in the light you can see where her jewelry & beading are colored in. I’m guessing this is from around the 20s - 40s?
Found in a high end estate of a collector of Western & Southwestern items, including some really nice Navajo rugs up in the shop.
Very sweet photo. Great reference for clothing & jewelry.
Pre owned, shows general wear and age. Overall great condition. Some wear to the edges but otherwise don’t see any issues. I believe it says “Kodak” and something else I can’t make out very small at the bottom of the photo like it printed from the border of the negative.
