Lansing, Michigan Capitol Loop route marker.
Up for sale today is this Lansing, Michigan Capitol Loop sign. Made to the exact standards as used from 1989 to the present in Michigan's capital.
The Capitol Loop (which is carried on the books as a business loop of I-496) is route marked through the core of Lansing. Many of Michigan's state government institutions can be found along the route, such as the Michigan Supreme Court and the Library of Michigan. The state capitol building is not too far from the loop, either.
An original of these is most likely to be found in active service along the Capitol Loop. The Michigan government of course knows exactly where they are supposed to be—on their posts, not in the trunk of your car. So here's your chance to get your hands on a fantastic display piece...without chancing legal trouble.
The sign is 16 by 16 inches, and weighs 6 lb. 8 oz..
This is a high quality, heavy steel sign. Accept no imitations that may be one-third this price, but are one-tenth the quality. No cheap tin to be found here, with the wrong fonts, layouts, size, shape, or any other manner of embarrassing imperfection. This one will make even the most discerning collector stick their nose into the sign, as it looks that good from that close!
Please do see my other sales for quality Michigan US and state route markers!
Would you like another route marker, from Michigan or elsewhere? I can of course make these signs with any route number of your choice, and not just this style, but older and newer ones, and even the classic mileage, direction, and city limit guide signs from the era. Anything you would like, made with unsurpassed quality right here in the good old US of A.
