The muscle cuirass was a common style of armor worn from VII BC to V AD by Greek and Roman officers. This ribbed cuirass is designed after the Greek-Roman style muscle armor. Designed to complement any of our Roman replica helmets or our shields, this armor breastplate will add an authentic, historical element to your costume, production, home or office.

Our Cuirass is hand-shaped from a single, large piece of 20 gauge mild steel, carefully pounded into the shape of a nicely muscled male torso. This particular design offers our customers a unique flat black finish design. Our craftsmen go into great details while sculpturing the chest, peck and belly button. It comes with a front plate and a back plate and two genuine leather straps on each side to accommodate different sizes. The shoulder piece features an adjustable leather straps as well. These leather straps are well riveted to the Cuirass. As good as the authentic, this is a true collector\'s piece.
