May 1965 Marvel Comics Amazing Spider-Man #24 in Fine Minus (F-) Condition:
$170.00

This is a May 1965 Marvel Comics Amazing Spider-Man #24 in Fine Minus (F-) Condition
Noticeable Defects: spine roll and wear, staple wear, 1" rip top of spine, missing piece
top right cover, corner impacts, edge wear and browning pages.Gaslighting is the name of the game here as visiting "Doctor Rinehart" states a theory that because
Spider-Man has the dual personality of a spider and a man it's only a matter of time before he
breaks down and goes crazy due to their incompatable nature. Peter knows it's hogwash but when
he begins to see old foes appear and disappear before his eyes he figures there must be some merit
to the doctor's theory... or is something more "mysterious" going on? Maybe the third appearance
of everyone's favorite illusionist, Mysterio? Guess you'll have to wait for the end to find out,
just like Spidey.Amazing Spider-Man #24 is in Fine Minus (F-) condition meaning it's been well-loved but not to the
point someone else can't love it also. Of course that means it's condition is well loved as well with
it's Noticeable Defects being heavy spine roll and wear, staple wear, a 1" spine split at the top, that
pesky Marvel Edging, it's missing a small piece in the upper right corner, it's got corner impacts and
browning pages. The comic is old enough and important enough that even a lower mid grade copy
like this one would class up anyone's comic collection and could easily be the centerpiece as copies
continue to be bought up. It's definitely worth a look if you're into Silver Age goodness, Steve Ditko,
early Marvel or just awesome historical comics.A Note About Comics:Though we have many years of comic book experience, we are not professional
graders and comic book grading is a very subjective thing. Professional outfits like
CGC state that if you were to submit the same book multiple times for grading it would
not necessarily receive the same grade because everyone sees something different.
That being said, we've attempted to err on the side of caution. Our grades, in the majority
of cases, are at least a half grade lower than what we feel they actually are to make sure
anyone who orders from us is happy with their purchase. The grades were determined
using Overstreet's comic book grading guide as well as the comic book grading
guide. The prices were determined using the Online Comic Price Guide and Comic Book
Realm's excellent price guide to reflect the entire range of pricing differences. As
always, use the photographs for additional information and feel free to ask questions. This has been packed away in a box for most of it's life, clean and smoke-free.
