March 19 1874 2-page letter from former Union General Jonathan Prince Cilley datelined Rockland Maine. Folded twice horizontally to fit into a long-gone envelope. Spindle hole at top puncturing both parts of the folded page.
Jonathan Prince Cilley (1835-1920) was the youngest son of Jonathan and Deborah Prince Cilley. He was born in Thomaston, Maine, on December 29, 1835. He practiced law briefly in Thomaston before joining the 1st Maine Cavalry in 1861. During the Civil War, he was promoted to Major in 1862, to Lt. Colonel in 1864, and to Bvt. Brig. Gen. in 1865. Following the war, he practiced law in Rockland from 1865 to 1919, and also served in the Maine legislature in 1867. He died on April 6, 1920.

You will need to work through Sales Tax issues with if for some reason you feel you should not be automatically charged sales tax. I cannot do anything about sales tax as takes it and I never see it.
