Macross Plus was a movie in the Macross universe set years after the original war between the SDF-1 and the Zentradi. In this era, the UN Spacy military is researching a replacement fighter to replace their current fighter, the VF-11B. The contenders are the YF-21 and the YF-19. Over the course of the movie, these two fighters and their pilots engage in a rivalry that pushes the limits of themselves and their fighters to the utmost.
You're offerding on a 2nd Edition version of the YF-19 Advanced Variable Fighter. It comes in the original box and features all of the accessories including gun pod, instruction manual for transforming the figure, and the stickers which can be applied to it. The box is in good condition, with no rips or tears. However, the front plastic facing was sliced when the box was being removed from another box after being shipped to a new home.
The figure is in good condition and transformers as intended. Nothing is broken, and everything moves freely, but there are some loose parts. The rear landing gear, for example, are intended to fold up into the legs, but they sometimes flip back out due to wear over the years. There are some chips on some of the parts, again due to age. For the most part, the figure was left on display on a shelf in fighter mode. The legs appear to be cast in a porcelain that is heavy. No apparent damage to the fighter / battloid.
