FRESH FROM SEALED 1977 CASE This 1977 Hess truck is in MINT original condition. Ithas never beentaken out of the box or displayed until now for the pictures. The color is bright and there are no signs of handling. The chrome is bright and shiny.Thebox has very nice color, and has no wear. The original mint inserts and battery card are included.The lights have been tested and work as they should. There is no guarantee since they are known to be a bitfinicky. An advanced collector should be very happy to own this truck.HAD QUESTIONS ABOUT HOW I KNOW THE TRUCK IS A 1977 vs 1978. THE DECAL ON THE BACK OF 1977 MEASURES 1.5\" WIDE AND 1\" TALL. THE DECAL ON THE BACK OF 1978 MEASURES 1.5\" WIDE AND 7/8\" TALL. THE BATTERY COVERS MAY BE DIFFERENT ALSO BUT EVERYTHING ELSE IS THE SAME. THIS DECAL MEASURES 1\" TALL MAKING IT A 1977.
