What is a Color Guide? Comic color guide pages were an integral part of the comic book process that has pretty much become a lost art. Before coloring was widely done using computers, the colorist would hand color are-sized photocopy of the original pencils and ink. All of the pages included in this sale also have the line note instructions and color codes written in by the colorist to show the printer details about the color being used. Again, with the use of computers to color the original art, pages like these are a thing of the past. Making each page a one of a kind original work of art.

These are the color guides for Uncanny X-Men Vol.1 issue 303. Most notable for the death of Illyana Rasputin. The sister of Colossus.
