Lot of 10 Spider-Man 2099 #1 (1992) Red Foil Cover - See Full Item Description for Front & Back Scans - These Comic Books were purchased new, direct from a distributor, and were stored in an oversized comic bag. They were then stored in a 300 count comic book box with other titles. That’s where they stayed since I received them brand new. None were ever opened to read, or handled in any way, to avoid any chances of leaving finger prints, scratches or dirt. All the comic book boxes stayed in the main section of the house. So, they avoided garages, basements, attics, crawl spaces, etc. They stayed within temperature controlled areas of the house. There is no smell of age to these comics. No moisture, no dust, no air fresheners, no perfumes. The comic books shown in the highly detailed pictures are the exact comic books you will receive. I took multiple pictures, to show all corners, edges, staples, everything. They have literally been left alone and in the dark for 30 years. I am the original owner and purchaser of these comic books. They've never even been involved in a house move. The only problem I see with them is on the back cover, there is two dimples on the edge of the back cover, and a light indentation on the upper left corner on the back cover. Both of these issues must be some sort of manufacturing defect, because all of my Spiderman 2099 #1's have the same problem. I've never looked at others out there, because I'm not in the comic book business anymore. I'm just trying to sell what I have left over. Before they are sent out, each comic book will be individually bagged in Modern/Current size Resealable bags and each comic book will be back boarded with an acid free board. They will then be covered with multiple layers of cardboard to protect them inside the box. Every precaution will be made to get these comic books to you in the same condition they left me. Returns are marked as not accepted, because there should be no reason for a return, with all the precautions made. These Comic Books come from a clean dry smoke free home. No bugs either. See Scans. Even though these comic books are new from the distributor, they do have minor factory defects. Mainly in the back cover area. They have a few line impresions that can mainly be seen at an angle, likely caused by the printing presses or the clamps that hold the comic while trimming it.
