Inevitably when you collect rocks of any kind you run across crystals. I don’t collect rocks per se and that includes minerals, but crystals, and particularly garnets, have always been a favorite of mine. These are grossular garnet crystals, the large one an excellent example of these garnets, or any garnets. It has a slight green cast to it and nice clear facets. With it is a wonderful pink garnet, which is an unusual color for this kind, and has complicated crystal facets that make it quite an unusual piece.
