Let me start by saying that I apologize for the pictures. I will take more on request, but will not remove picture from frame.
Photo attributed to William Henry Jackson between 1890 and 1900. Copyright 1900 Detroit Photographic Company.
The gold leaf print on the border has the Spanish spelling of Grand Canon. Along with Santa Fe route, which was one of the few ways you could get there at the turn of the century. The rail system ran into the park.
This is a very rare photocrom/lithograph print produced for the Santa Fe railroad, that I believe was the for runner of their advertising posters.
Pictures that show clouds in the background, are really just distortion from wavy vintage glass.
Frame measures approx. 33 inches wide, by 23 inches in height, border width is 1 3/4 inches.
