Large Antique Sawmill 48 \" Disston SAW Blade Waupaca WI Sawmill For Sale

Vtg old Disston 48 inch Sawmill circular blade . The blade has surface rust as shown . The wood piece marked Disston of Chicago and was sent to an EC Williams of Waupaca Wi. I think the wood piece served as a washer type unit to hold it in place against a larger holder for the blade . I could be wrong on that , but i have seen photos of other similar old blades that where shipped in that manner. The saw s pretty heavy and sharp , so local pickup only.The wood piece is clearly marked Disston so I assume was Disston as well.
