Templeof Vesta
TheTemple of Vesta (known as \"Aedes Vestae\" in Latin) is a religiousstructure dedicated to the goddess of hearth and home, Vesta.
Thetemple was located in Regione VIII Forum Romanum. Its construction consisted ofa circular base, 20 Corinthian columns on a podium 15 meters in diameter, acentral cella, and a vent in the roof for smoke.
Thestructure was made almost entirely of marble. In the center of the structure,inside the cella, was a large fire that was kept alight by the Vestal Virgins.The fire represented the undying power of Rome and the essential cooking fireof every home.
At onepoint in its lifetime, the Temple of Vesta was used to house legal wills anddocuments of the Senators.

PAYMENTS
We accept payment via cardat the warehouse on the day of collection, PayPal or bacs prior to collection
We would kindly ask thatall items are paid for within 48 hours and collected within 7 working days, wecan hold all paid items for 14 days free of charge, there after there is a £10a week storage fee, please ask before purchase should you wish us to holdsomething for longer than two weeks, if after six months your item isn’tcollected you will forfeit your payment and the item will be placed for saleagain
CONDITION

Please note vintage periodand original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina inthe form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensureno moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in directsunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade

Your invoice will be sentwith zero balance in the delivery section, this is because all delivery feesare paid directly to the courier company to keep your costs down, if we chargeyou through we have to add and paypal fees, vat and other taxes tomake sure the courier company are paid the exact amount they charge
We can arrange deliverynationwide, mostly with Wimbledon couriers, for the very far North and South weuse KDM couriers, for Europe we use Anyvan to find the cheapest quote, for therest of the world it is location specific
Whoever delivers willusually require some help on the larger items to unload, if this is notpossible please let us know as it will affect the price to send a two man team
Delivery is to the groundfloor only, again if you need help upstairs or in flats etc that\'s absolutelynot a problem, the couriers charge £10 per flight per man per item, if you havea working elevator then naturally there’s no additional fee
All courier fees are paidby yourself directly to the courier company, the contract for delivery isbetween yourselves the client and whichever courier you chose from those available
I’m happy to accommodateyour own courier after a cleared payment has been received, they need to bookin a collection time with at least 24 hour’s notice, all collections must bemade within 14 working days of the close of the sale unless agreed by priorarrangement

Delivery time can take twoto three weeks depending on the courier’s routes for the above mentionedcountries
