This beautiful Longaberger basket has been stored away, and never actively used or displayed. The Basket is like new and very clean and solid. All basket textures and stains are naturally created by the basket makers. This was a gift to us and has never been used and was in a closed cabinet in a clean and dry smoke free home. It is dated 2009 and has the Longaberger name on the basket upper area inside on the rim and the underside is signed and dated. Baskets HANDWOVEN, Dresden, Ohio USA. It is very sturdy, and measures 11\" long open dimeter at the top, 8 1/4\" across and a depth of 3 1/2\". The bottom of the basket is diamond-shaped and measures 9\" by 6 1/4\". What a great buy for a collector but would also make a wonderful hostess gift, especially if you brought some goodies it! Although this piece was retired long ago, it is still like new! Longaberger is a company known for its high-quality dinnerware and baskets and are highly collectible with outstanding ability to retain and increase in value, especially now that they are no longer actively in production.
