For sale is a large 2lb Boy Blue toffee tin by George Horner & Co. 1900 origin.
A lovely old metal tin which still has its original clasp and push pin bolt fastener which is attached by its original metal ring.
Does have light surface scratches on the lid and front where the bolt falls when it is unlocked. Metal handle on lid. There is a dent to the lid which can be better seen when opened.
A rare design, highly collectible.
Height is 6.25cm x width 8.25 x length 12cm.
Dates to the early 1900s. Gorgeous deep red oriental decoration.
Wear is commensurate with age and use. It has been used as a sewing box for many years.
