CLASSIC GOLDEN AGE vintage 1946-47 ZENITH Model 8H034Z radio! \"HAND FAN FACE & DIAL that lights up (dimly) more on right side. Case is real wood with veneer cover! 2 control knobs with inner ring controls. Left knob inner ring is 2 position tone control that is a tad touchy but works well! Really an attractive \"rainbow/hand fan shaped\" front with rose colored material speaker cover! This is one VERY VERY STYLISH radio from the end of WWII era but has more of a 1930\'s styling! This has FM100, FM45 & AM radio bands! This radio cost well over $200 in non working condition and then was brought bac to nice working condition and it was not cheap to do!MORE INFO: Larger, heavier Table top 3 band radio! FM100/FM45/AM radio! Original era 110 powered radio manufactured by ZENITH! This is now in good working condition! Real solid wood radio case in great condition with no cracks or chips, SEE PICTURES FOR THE TRUE DESCRIPTION. Knobs are original and securely attached. This radio is approx 60-70 years old and looks and sounds great! All necessary paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! Picks up stations up and down the dial. The radio works well! All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection.The radio has been thoroughly cleaned, inspected and all internals have been gone thru by PROFESSIONAL ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN who has been repairing, restoring and caring for these awesome radios for well over 40 yrs! Just a note...i listen to these radios while taking pictures and as i write the descriptions. PLEASE TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES AS THEY ARE THE ULTIMATE DESCRIPTION! AGAIN...PICTURES ARE THE TRUE, ULTIMATE DESCRIPTION!
