Korting Telefunken Shortwave Tube Radio Phonograph Mid Cent Mod Dry Bar Cabinet
This item is a mid-century Korting Telefunken shortwave tube radio and phonograph in a wooden cabinet with a light wood stain and glossy finish. The item was made in West Germany and it features a Ferrit antenna.
The cabinets dimensions are 44.5\" wide x 36.5\" high x 16.5\" deep and it weighs 108.40 pounds.
The sides measure 15\" at the top curving out to 16.5\" toward the bottom.
The item has four simple cone-shaped legs measuring 8\" with a gold protector measuring 2\" attached to the bottom of each leg.
The bottom of the cabinet has a 6.5\" speaker panel across the front. There is also one speaker panel on each side at the bottom measuring 8\" x 4\".
The cabinet has two sliding doors each measuring 21\". The right hand side of the cabinet has a radio receiver on the top shelf measuring 20\" x 4.5\". The bottom shelf has a Telefunken 504 turntable. There are cords for these items attached.
The left side of the cabinet has a semi-circular dry bar. The backing is a gold-brown fabric with gold studs making a quilted diamond pattern. The bottom is 20.5\" wide and 11.5\" deep at the center. There is a mirror base on the bottom with tabs 10\" up from the bottom to insert the semi-circular glass shelf, also included, that is 20.5\" x 8\" at the deepest.
The speaker panel on the front has stains and some of the webbing strings are broken. We also plugged in the cabinet and it does power on. The FM stations work but the AM was fuzzy. The needle may need replacing.
The wood cabinet is in great pre-owned condition with some wear on some of its edges.
