This is a low grade item. It will be complete and readable, but will show significant wear. Allowed defects for this grade include: spine roll, a moderate amount of staining or water damage, writing or other marks on the cover, up to one inch spine splits or other tears, a cover or centerfold that is detached at one staple, discoloration due to oxidation, and a minor piece or pieces missing. An item could be assigned this grade due to either an accumulation of minor/moderate defects or one or two major defects.
Description
Untitled story, art by John Celardo; Mad scientist Roho takes N\'Tito\'s brain and places it in ape. He then kidnaps Ann and plans to allow the ape inhabiting N\'Titi\'s body to kill her; Kaänga and N\'Tito arrive in time to save Ann but N\'Tito and Roho are both killed. Untitled story, art by August Froehlich; Simba protects a lost white child from buffalo stampede and mandrill attack until the boy\'s parents find him. Untitled story, art by Bob Lubbers; Terry rides to rescue the sultan\'s daughter from her kidnapper, Ali Khan. Keeeto, disguised as the Desert Whip, a notorious criminal, manages to get the better of Ali Khan and the girl is rescued. Cecil Rhodes bio, art by George Evans. Untitled story, pencils by Alex Blum; Two hunters trick Wambi into letting them record his voice while he is giving animals commands; Using the recording, they manage to capture dozens of animals with no effort. Brief descriptions of several jungle traps. Untitled story, art by Howard Larsen; The witch doctor Sikulu convinces his people that white men have killed their chief; He takes the tribe to the camp of innocent scientists with the intent of murder; Tabu arrives, tells the men the truth—that Sikulu had attempted to kill the chief. Untitled story, pencils by Fran Hopper; A pair of jewel thieves kidnap Trader Tom and hope to torture him into revealing the location of his cache of pearls; Camilla rescues Tom, but not before one of the thieves has been killed by a viper. 52 pgs., full color.
