John Hancock Cartridge Pen In the Box with Cartridges For Sale

Offered is a John Hancock Cartridge Pen in the original box , with a signed Tin Cartridge holder , and three new cartridges in the wrapper . This is as Unique and it gets in My opinion . Yes , give me your John Hancock meaning your signature , is the saying , and here it is the original Pen, Cartridges , Cartridge Holder , signed and in the box. This is a historical item in my opinion . Great for the person who is always quoting from the constitution , Bill of Rights , Declaration of Independence type person . Christmas is near . The pen is perfect , Nib is a John Hancock . No brass , no engrave , no scratches , there is one small mark on the cap to end of barrel near the green ring , no problem s. It is near mint , the box is excellent , does show some wear from being in a drawer . I guess the pen was never used , and guess what , the long thin tin cartridges really not that successful , the cartridge actually screws into the barrel . You drop the cartridge into the barrel , note the cap for the end of the barrel , then screw the cartridge till it is snug , and start writing . If you google John Hancock Cartridge Pen , there is a picture of a advertisement showing the pen . All the threads work great . The pen is 5 1/2 inches long . The John Hancock came with a couple colors of the ring between the cap on the end of barrel and the barrel , not sure the other colors , but the green ring as on this pen is the one to have since it matches the green signature on the cartridge holder . Please note the imprint on the cap . I have owned this a long time . Had another one that was nice but not as good as this one and not as nice a box , and I sold it . So now time for this one to go to new owner . It will be hard to find a better one especially with the cartridges in the wrapper and in the cartridge holder . This pen is in my opinion not a user , although it could be dipped and used , but i do not know if the cartridges have ink or not . I was always going to open the cartridge sac and try one out but didn\'t , will leave that up to new owner . Satisfaction guarantee . The imprint on the cap is white and shown in the last picture. The white imprint is very readable , no imprint on barrel , and no number on the end of the barrel . I know this is a top dollar price , but this is a unbelievable top dollar pen as it is with box etc . Someday this will be a 1500 plus dollar extreme pen in my opinion . You just can not find this anywhere .
