Japanese Zero Turn and Bank Indicator Aviation Instrument, TORA x 3 For Sale

Japanese Aircraft Turn and Bank Indicator, original glass. Believed to be Type 98 used in several types of Japanese WWII Aircraft. The note that came with it indicates that it was from a Japanese Zero. As my Japanese is a little rusty, I can\'t verify that. The slip indicator is filled with liquid and the ball moves as it should. Other than that, I can\'t verify that the instrument functions as it should so please test it before putting it into your backyard Zero rebuild project. It might not prevent a stall and spin the next time you\'re in the pattern. This is a very nice, unique, and rare piece of WWII Japanese Aviation history and a remnant of the overall battle in the South Pacific between Forces of the Empire of Japan and the Allied Forces opposing them. The item offered for sale is from my father\'s personal collection of over 50 years which began in the late 1960\'s through his recent passing. Back then,items were readily available directly from Veterans.We put WWII wanted signs up everywhere. Later when my interests were more of an adolescent nature, I was no longer involved in his collection which continued to obsessively grow. Since the 1980\'s, I only had a limited knowledge of his collection activities other than particularly neat items that he found which we talked about on the phone. His collection grew from trading, flea markets, Veteran\'s families, and later the internet. I never had the vast knowledge of militaria that my father did.
