An outstanding antique Edo Period 1603 -1868 A.D. Japanese samurai kozuka knife handle, made of the blackened Copper-gold alloy (shakudō), exterior adorned with a finely executed in gold and silver inlaid raised design of a riding bamboo horse whip and a samurai commanders baton Saihai on the nanako-ji pattern background.
CONDITION: Showing age and usage.
