This piece belongs to Bob Davidoff’s nephew, who had it signed by Jacqueline and Caroline later in life at a benefit event. I am listing this on consignment for the owner.
This iconic and famous photograph was taken in Palm Beach, Florida on Easter Sunday, 1963. It is signed, lower right. “Bob Davidoff 4/63.” It is also signed, upper center, “Jacqueline Kennedy” and right middle, “Caroline Kennedy.”
Bob Davidoff worked for more than 40 years, chronicling the lives of the Kennedy family, especially their many sojourns to Palm Beach. His images of a youthful Kennedy and his glamorous wife, helped shape the image of the Kennedy’s as America’s royal family. COA BY KEN DAVIDOFF (Bob Davidoff’s son).
CONDITION: This photograph is in excellent condition. The inside of the glass on the frame looks as though it could use a cleaning. Gold frame in good condition with some minor scratching and wear. Davidoff’s signature clear and clean. Jacqueline Kennedy’s signature in silver gel, clear and clean. Caroline Kennedy’s signature in silver gel has some fading.
MEASUREMENTS: Frame measures 13 x 15 1/2. Sight view of photograph measures 7 3/4 x 9 3/4.
I also have a larger, original laser art color photograph on canvas of the same image signed by Davidoff, Jacqueline and John Kennedy, Jr, that I will also be listing on my store, IH Collectibles and Gifts.
