Vintage Handpainted Wooden Parrot on Carved Wooden Stand Ash Tray?1930s Unusual. Condition is "Used".
This is absolutely stunning and so unusual! Never seen another one like it. There is some paint loss on the upper and underside of the tail, and in other areas as shown. Wood flaking on top of tail as shown. It does not stay upright for very long, and reverts to the forward position as shown in second photo. Not sure what the chain would have been for - maybe to hold an ashtray in the top? Please do feel free to message me with any questions. Approx measurements:
