Up for consideration is a beautifully hand carved Balinese art panel.
- Measures 10-1/4\" high, 9-14\" wide, 1\" thick- Scene depicts Hindu Princess Sita and the Golden Deer in the forest - from the Sanskrit epic \"Ramayana\"- Carved detailed design is an oval with matching corners to create rectangle- Minor damage found: chip on top left corner (see pic 10), top of leaf missing (see pic 11), crack on back (see pic 9), split in wood (see pic 12)- Type of wood not identified - could be teak or suar wood- Most of the items within the oval appear to have a varnish-like sheen
