Hello! These are REPRODUCTION weather vane birds that fit on the top/cupola of many Hamm\'s beer advertising signs. The originals are fragile and are almost always damaged or missing on vintage advertising. The reproduction weather vanes are not identical, but very close to the original. Very few would be able to tell the difference as you can tell from the pictures of the reproduction vane on a sign. The weather vane is about 2 5/8\" tall (including the mounting hole and bracket).
The reproduction weather vanes are made from durable plastic and will fit right in the original spot and use the original mounting hole. These will complete your sign to look just as it was intended, or add the crowning detail to make your sign more desirable for sale.
