We are offering 7 original CDV photographs of horse-drawn carriages, a delivery wagon, and what we believe may be a funeral carriage. Circa 1870s.
1.) Delivery Wagon with a man in an apron, likely a store owner or possibly a butcher, delivering his goods in a closed wagon, maybe with ice for refrigeration. The name "Elmer Kuhn" is written on the back.
2.) Man wearing a top hat, two ladies and their dog in a fancy carriage with the driver in the front. Photo is by "H. B. Upton, Crystal Lodge, Petersham, Surrey, England. Photographer to the Duchess of Cambridge and to the Princess Mary".
3.) Two men in an open carriage. Photo is by E. P. Gerould. It hasa George Washington 2 cent revenue stamp on the back with the photographer's initials "E.P.G." written across it.
4.) A white horse pulling a carriage with its driver is in front of an impressive mansion, with the man of the house standing in the entryway. Written on the back is "Adrian Burns, Lancaster, Ohio".
5.) Horse drawn carriage that appears as if it may be a funeral carriage standing outside a farmhouse. The driver wears an official cap of some sort and has a long white beard.
