This MAGNIFICENT wool 1870's wool challis "courthouse steps" log cabin quilt is all hand pieced.It measures 62" X 78" and is in very goodcondition,with the occasional small moth nibble (mostly visible on the back) and no wear, The colors are strong and vibrant.
The back is an early wool plaid fabric, the hand stitched binding is solid red, and the batting, if any, is very thin.
