Gorgeous Taisho Showa Antique Vintage Japanese Violet Furisode Kimono DUCKS For Sale

Stunning antique furisode! Rich, beautiful violet silk. This one features beautiful jimon with shishi dogs; and is made from super fine kinsha. This piece is pre-war; I think firmly Showa but still pretty early on. There are no rips or tears; no underarm snags. It does have a snag on the front breast; see photos. The photos with flash show some migrations from the red momi lining at the back of the kimono in the lower middle; these do not appear so much without a flash; I tried to show this with a few photos without flash and it was very hard to get it to show up in those shots, but the minor migration IS there.There are some small marks here and there, and the yuzen work isn\'t the tightest or cleanest work ( the artist may have had a very hard day ) but the jimon on the silk is exquisite and this is pretty impressive as a display piece.
