Gold, silver and platinum types in amber quartz ore. Hand cut, shaped and hand polished from a 1800s Ore Knob Copper Mine Ashe County North Carolina ore. Historic registered N.C. mine ore. More metal than quartz in the piece. 3.6 ounces,2-5/8 inches x 1-1/2 inches x 1/2 inch. Longest points of the beveled edge oval shape with an even thickness. Note that there are a couple natural fractures in the quartz sections, but they are stable unless treated very roughly, like a hard drop. It has been through a large saw, with no problems, hand polishing and shaping of the large oval. It will be shipped well padded. Shipping option available.
