This elegant recreation offers a smooth, hardwood handle accented by the gold-plated blade catcher and guard, which are reminiscent of the styling of the original Bowie. The 1,248 layer Damascus blade completes the look and feel of this unique Bowie Knife. Includes a genuine leather sheath. 14\" blade. 20 1/2\" overall. I purchased this knife when they first came out. It has never been carried or used. I did remove the little badge from the leather sheath. It just didn\'t look right. This knife was always stored in the box & never in the sheath. These Damascus Bowies have been discontinued by the original manufacturer, United Cutlery. I am selling this one to get some cash together to purchase another sheath knife. I\'m pretty sure that a lot of you do the same thing, now and then.
