German WWII Kriegsmarine White Mess Dress Jacket Lieutenant Engineer. This item is very rare!
The jacket COMES WITH THE METAL BREAST EAGLE (you can see the holes on the left side of the jacket where it goes). If you want to see pictures of it, please message me. I had to take it off the jacket (metal clamped so easy to remove) to follow s rules.
The jacket is in outstanding condition for being 70+ years old. Ever so slightly yellowed with age. The shoulder boards indicate that the person who wore the jacket was an Lieutenant Engineer in the Kriegsmarine (Germany Navy). This short jacket was worn as a formal evening wear attire and was a mandatory procurement item! This jacket is extremely rare and I am thinning out my WWII collection.
The backside of the buttons are marked with OVERHOFF. That company made only the highest quality buttons and arevery desirable by collectors.
On the right side of the jacket are cotton hangers which wouldbe for thesoldiers ribbon bar.

The jacket is from top of the collar to the end of the arms is around 29 inches long.
Around 25 inches across.
All in all, this jacket is one of a kind and in outstanding condition. I am listing it with and a very low starting price. This is priced to sell.
