German M. 1898 Bayonet made by Simson & Co Suhl for Peru - Excellent Condition

This sale is for a German M.1898 Mauser bayonet made for Peru.
The bayonet is inexcellent condition.

The metal butt and guard are excellent. The end of the butt has the
crest of Peru on it.
The wood handles are in excellent condition.
The full length blade is shinyand unsharpened..
The blade is marked Simson & Co Suhl.

The scabbard is in excellent condition.

The bayonets were collected back in the 1960 -1970\'s by a collector that later wrote a book on bayonets. The collection has bayonets from many countries and spans three centuries.
