The Gerber Applegate-Fairbairn Combat Folder Knife is a tactical knife with a single spear point blade. This model knife has become collectible, especially in this like-new condition.I purchased this knife new in 2007. The blade is approximately 4 3/8 inches long and has a combination edgeThis knife has a manual opening mechanism and is the liner-lock style.It measures about 10\" overall, when opened.It has a black fiberglass handle. This knife is part of Gerber\'s military product line and is an original model, with no after-market modifications. I never used it for cutting or even carrying. It has never been resharpened and has the factory edge. It has a strong lock-up and no wobble in the blade. I only listed it as used, because I destroyed the original plastic bubble packaging. I’ve opened the sheath a few times over the years, only to inspect the blade and wipe it with a silicone cloth. It’s impressively large for a folding knife. There are no scratches on this knife.
