This is a solid oak Hexagonal Wall Clock, designed by George Nelson and produced by the Howard Miller Clock Company. The clock case measures 12 3/4\" in width across the flat sides, 14 3/4\" from point to point at the miters and 2 3/4\" in depth. The clock uses a vintage \"C\" cell battery quartz movement from Japan, which was made and marked for Howard Miller, with standard one second step action. The clock is in very good vintage condition, with the original hands and a nice warm darkened patina to the solid oak case.
The movement has an advance/retard screw adjustment so that you can fine tune the speed of the clock. A couple of the miters in the oak case, near the rear of the clock. have opened slightly but are stable and barely noticeable once the clock is hung on the wall. This clock is a model No.622-662 and is made in the USA. Pleaseview and enlarge all of the photos to appreciate the condition of this clock.
