GRISWOLD ERIE NO. 8 704k SKILLET LARGE SLANT LOGO HEAT RING EPU For Sale

Griswold no 8 704k with the large slant logo and Erie pa USA. This piece has been stripped and seasoned multiple times. No cracks or issues. Has a beautiful smooth cooking surface that shows use over its 100 year history with a few tool marks. . Bottom has some blemishes that I left instead of using more aggressive cleaning and damaging the pan. Sits flat on a granite counter top resting on the heat ring, the center is slightly concave, does not spin.Check out photos and ask any questions. As this is has been only seasoned a few times and not used to cook the color is closer to dark brown than black. Photos taken in daylight, which shows issues with more clarity than in person of any marks.

This item was stripped down to bare metal using collector approved lye bath and electrolysis treatments. This process ensures the removal of all residue from previous use making it safe to use once more. The item is lightly seasoned with 4 rounds of crisco at 450 for 1 hour.
