This beautifully detailed medal is high-quality post-war reproduction of the Prussian / German Imperial Iron Cross First Class (1914)of WWI. This is a vaulted "nickel silver" version of the medal, a style preferred by many “flying aces” during the war.It is made of a nickel / copper alloy.
