GENUINE JAPANESE JAPAN PRE WAR WWII ERA TOKYO BUS LICENSE PLATE RARE For Sale

Up for sale is this great estate fresh Pre War Japanese bus license plate. This plate was a WWII US Seabee soldier bring back and found with other war items. The plate is made of aluminum. The left side of the plate is stamped with Japanese characters, the top reads vehicle number and the bottom reads operating person. The corresponding number next to vehicle number is 10.198 in which the numbers are individually attached with tabs. The lower right portion of the plate has a spot for a strip to be placed onto the plate. This strip has the name of the bus operator on it and could be changed as drivers changed. The plate dates from around 1933 to 1945 and is a rare find as many of these were recycled for the war effort. The plate measures approx. 6 5/8\" wide by 3 5/8\" tall. This is a wonderful rare license plate that would make an excellent addition to any collection.
